CHAU MOSQUITO TRAINING IN COLOMBIA AND PERU

After providing remote training throughout 2023 for communities in Colombia and Peru, the Chau Mosquito campaign will once again work on dengue prevention in these countries, this time in person.

During the first days of November, two Chau Mosquito teams will travel to Peru and Colombia to develop in-person campaigns to form local teams in each country. In each case the teams will work in coordination with local organizations. In Peru the campaign will be developed in peripheral areas and in Colombia it will work on the same way in different regions of the country.

In the case of Peru, it will be coordinated with the Peruvian Red Cross, an organization that has already been working with local teams in the “Chau Zancudo” campaign. In Colombia, the coordination is carried out with the Corporaci[on Juego y Niñez, an organization that has been working for several years with the Chau Mosquito campaign, within the framework of its program of environmentally friendly practices.
