The CHAU MOSQUITO campaign began in Argentina during the 2016 dengue outbreak, which reached the central region of the country for the first time, where major urban centers are located.

It is coordinated by EDUPAS, an organization specialized in developing health prevention and promotion programs, and has been supported by SC Johnson since its inception.

It works in coordination with government agencies and civil society organizations to strengthen prevention strategies and actions within communities.

The initiative receives scientific and technical guidance from recognized organizations in the field.

The CHAU MOSQUITO campaign began in Argentina in 2016. Over the following decade, it expanded to the northern and central provinces of Argentina, and later to other countries in Latin America, always working in coordination with local governments and organizations.
